Therapy for Teens (14+)

I work with teenagers, providing a safe environment where they can freely express themselves. Through active listening, empathy, and emotional support, I guide them in exploring their identity, making decisions, developing communication skills, achieving academic success, addressing mental health concerns, and cultivating healthy coping strategies. My aim is to facilitate their independence and resilience, empowering them for a successful transition into adulthood.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, occurring 1-2 times per week. I utilize an integrative approach that combines Relational Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) techniques.

I recognize the value of incorporating family sessions to support teenagers, fostering effective communication, skill generalization, and strengthening family connections. Family sessions are tailored to the unique needs of each adolescent and family, conducted as needed to ensure comprehensive support and growth.
